Crucifixion and Resurrection
A broken hearted mother stood weeping
At the foot of the old rugged cross
Watching Jesus
now hanging there dying
As she grieved for the Son she had lost
His disciples who all had forsaken Him
Stood
in a field not so far away
Wondered at what they were seeing
And questioned the things of that day
Because they
believed He was the Messiah
Sent forth from God unto them
Who had come to set up His kingdom
And to be the ruler
over all of the land
He would cast out all of those strangers
And take back what once was theirs
And deliver
them out of their bondage
Which they suffered all of these years
But now He was hanging there helpless
Just a
dead man nailed to a cross
All of their hopes and dreams all faded
As it seemed now that all hope was lost
Many
wandered, weeping and wondering
At all of those things He had done
How could He have suffered and died
For He confessed
to be Gods only Son
Most did not hear what He was teaching
And spiritually could not understand
He was setting
up His kingdom on earth
In the hearts and lives of believing man
Now on the morning of the third day
Jesus arose
and came from the grave
And appeared onto all who were gathered
To reassure them their souls He could save
Then
before He left He made a promise
I will be returning for you some day
So do all you can, go and tell others
I will
be with you seek me and pray
And in the last days when you see these signs
The world around you corrupted by sin
Lift
up your eyes be ready for redemption
For than will I soon be coming again
But now I must go to my Fathers house
Where
I am preparing a place for you
I'm not going to leave you here alone
I'll send the Comforter to see you through
Then
they understood what He was saying
And what He tried to tell them all along
That He really was the true Messiah
He
truly was and is Gods Holy One

Now when Jesus was
a little boy

The City of Gold
While in the Spirit many visions John saw
But these I believe are the greatest
of all
A foursquare city in the sky coming down
And gently was set in its place on the ground
Nothing on earth
in times past could ever relate
To this city which has a peril for each gate
Inside its beauty is so wondrous to behold
On
Jasper walls reflects the streets of pure gold
The city of gold, the city of gold
New Jerusalem coming down for
man to behold
The city of gold, the city of gold
Coming down out of Heaven from God we are told
The city has
twelve stories each one a pure jewel
Which was given to the twelve apostles to rule
Its great foundation is made of
all precious stones
With a river of life flowing out from Gods throne
On each side of this pure crystal river there
grew
The tree of life which each month gave fruit anew
And for the healing of Nations shall be its leaves
To he who
overcomes, a place in this city receives

Now the first Heaven
and earth have all passed away
Gone forever is the sun, the moon, stars and sea
For the light of the world now, is the
glory of God
And the light of the city is the Lamb thereof
The Alpha and Omega will soon be coming to reign

One More Mountain
As I stand here upon the mountain
And gaze down at the valley far
below
I rejoice in knowing I have conquered
And now have one less climb to go
While I stand here looking downward
I
think of all the trials I went through
Before I even started my climbing
To the top of a mountain I never knew
But
now as look way down below me
At the rivers and streams I had crossed
The swamps and the tangled thick forest
And
I wonder if it was all worth the cost
I consider my scrapes and bruises
And the tired out condition I am in
Is
it worth it to go onward for Jesus
Or is it easier to slide backward into sin
Then I remember the things I went
through
To get up here to where I now am
So I look toward another mountain ahead
Then prayerfully rest and go forward
again
For one day I will come to a mountain
To realize that I need not climb any more
Turning my back on those
sin valleys below me
I will joyfully enter into Heavens eternal door

Broken Hearted Mother
A broken hearted mother Mary wept sorely
As at the foot
of the cross she now stood
For her Son Jesus nailed there hanging
His dead body all covered with blood
How could
such a thing as this happen
To someone who was doing so much good
He daily healed and gave life to people
And filled
their lifes with Heavenly food
Why did God not come down to rescue
The one that He sent down to earth
For she
knew because she was His mother
Who while a virgin gave this child birth
How could the one who they called Lord
Be
as the thieves now nailed to a cross
Her grieving soul cried out within her to God
Has she looked upon Him and mourned
her lost
Then in a couple of days came the good news
Jesus was risen; He is somehow alive again
Then she remembered
how He had told them
So shall ye be if you believe on my name

Jesus is at Calvary; Jesus is
dying for me
Jesus is now being laid in a tomb
Jesus is risen He's gone back to Heaven
